Terms of Use
- Your use of the app is covered by Apple’s standard license agreement.
- Pay figures are an estimate from the rates you enter. Tallyhours is not payroll, tax or legal advice.
- 14-day trial, then Pro Lifetime ($24.99 once) or Pro Yearly ($14.99 a year, renews automatically until you cancel). Purchases are handled by Apple.
- After the trial or a cancellation, your history, exports and backups keep working.
License
Tallyhours is provided by Alkor Labs, the trading name of Individual Entrepreneur Aliaksei Karatynski, registered in Georgia, and is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms add a few points specific to Tallyhours. If anything here conflicts with the standard EULA, the standard EULA applies.
An estimate, not payroll
- Hours, overtime and pay are calculated from the times, rates and rules you enter. They are an estimate to help you keep records and check your pay.
- Tallyhours does not calculate taxes, withholdings or benefits, does not pay anyone and is not a payroll service.
- Overtime presets (such as “weekly over 40 hours” or “daily over 8 and 12 hours”) are settings, not legal advice. The rules that apply to your job depend on where and how you work; check them with your employer, your agency or a qualified advisor.
- Whether an employer, family, agency or insurer accepts a timesheet is up to them. Check what they require.
Your records
You are responsible for the times and amounts you enter and for the timesheets you sign and send. The app is designed so that a running shift is not lost, but no software is perfect: please keep a backup (Settings → Backup) and check a timesheet before you sign it. How data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Trial
- The 14-day trial is a $0 in-app item called “14-day Trial”. It gives full access for 14 days from the moment you get it. It costs nothing, does not renew and never turns into a subscription.
- The trial is once per Apple Account. Reinstalling the app or using a new device does not restart it.
- When the trial ends, you can still open and read every entry, create and send PDF timesheets, export CSV, back up and restore. Adding new shifts needs Pro.
Purchases
- Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase of $24.99 (US price; prices in other countries vary). It unlocks adding new entries for the Apple Account that bought it, with no further payments.
- Pro Yearly is an auto-renewable subscription of $14.99 per year (US price). Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically each year unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price shown when you subscribed unless Apple has notified you of a price change.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Canceling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. After that the app works as it does after the trial: your history and exports remain.
- Both plans unlock the same features. There are no weekly or monthly plans and no other in-app purchases.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Changes to the app
We may update the app to fix problems or improve it. We will not take away the ability to read, export or back up your own records, and we will not take away a feature you paid for with Pro Lifetime without offering a fair replacement.
