Tallyhours

Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026

  • Data Not Collected. We do not collect, see or store any of your data. There is no account, no server of ours, no analytics, no ads and no third-party code in the app.
  • Your hours, jobs, rates and notes stay on your iPhone and, if you turn on sync, in your own private iCloud database.
  • Files leave your iPhone only when you share them, to the place you pick.

Tallyhours is made by Alkor Labs, the trading name of Individual Entrepreneur Aliaksei Karatynski, registered in Georgia (“we”). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app. On the App Store, the app’s privacy label is Data Not Collected.

What you enter, and where it stays

Shifts and their times, breaks, jobs and clients, hourly rates, overtime settings, tips, mileage, expenses, notes and the name you put on your timesheets are stored on your device. The running timer’s start time is also saved on the device the moment you start it, so a shift isn’t lost if the app is closed. The Home Screen widget and the Live Activity read the same data on your device.

iCloud sync

If iCloud is turned on for Tallyhours, your data is also kept in your own private iCloud database (CloudKit), provided by Apple and tied to your Apple Account. Only you can read it; we have no access to it. It is covered by Apple’s privacy policy. You can turn it off at any time in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud.

The trial start date

The 14-day trial is an App Store item, so Apple records when you started it. To know how many trial days are left even when you are offline or reinstall the app, Tallyhours also remembers that one date in your device’s Keychain and in your iCloud key-value storage. These two places hold only the trial start date and are used for nothing else. We never receive it.

Purchases

The trial, Pro Lifetime and Pro Yearly are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see your name, Apple Account, payment details or address. The app asks the App Store only whether a purchase is active on this Apple Account.

Notifications

Reminders (“time to clock in”, “your period closes tomorrow”, “still working?”) are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. No push server of ours is involved, and you can turn them off in the app or in iOS Settings.

Files you create

PDF timesheets, CSV exports and backup files are made on your device. They leave it only when you send, save or share them, to a destination you choose (for example Mail, Messages, Files or a printer). What happens after that is governed by that service and the person you send it to. CSV files you import are read on the device and not sent anywhere.

What we do not do

Apple may give developers anonymous, aggregated App Store statistics (such as download counts) and crash reports from users who chose to share them with developers in iOS Settings. These come from Apple and do not include the hours you enter.

Deleting your data

Delete entries or jobs in the app, or delete the app to remove everything on the device. If you used iCloud sync, remove the app’s data in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage. Backup files you saved stay where you saved them until you delete them.

Children

Tallyhours is a general-audience work tool. We collect no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the app ever began to collect data, we would say so here and in the App Store privacy label before that update.
