Blood sugar logbook for iPhone and iPad
Write it down. Show your doctor.
Manual entry only — no meter or CGM connection.
Fingerstick is a simple log for the numbers you already get from your finger-stick test. Type a reading in three taps, see your week as a logbook page, and send your doctor a clear PDF of the last 30 days for free.
Free to use. Pro is $12.99 once, or $9.99 a year if you prefer. No account. No ads. No subscription required.

What you get
Three taps to log
The number pad is already open. Type the number, pick a tag like Fasting or After meal, tap Save. Carbs, insulin, medicine and a note are there when you want them.
A PDF your doctor can read
Summary, two charts, a logbook grid with every reading by time of day, and a list of the readings that have notes. Free for the last 30 days. Send it by Mail, print it, or save it to Files.
Your history comes with you
Bring readings in from Apple Health with one button. Many diabetes apps save to Health, so this is how you move over. Running it twice won't make duplicates.
Fix any entry
Edit or delete any reading, with a swipe. If you save the same minute twice, Fingerstick asks before it keeps both.
Charts and averages
7, 14, 30 or 90 days: average, median, time in range, lowest and highest, and an A1C estimate. The estimate is not a substitute for a lab test.
Gentle reminders
Reminders before breakfast, after meals or at bedtime. Tap “Log a Reading” on the reminder and the number pad opens.
mg/dL or mmol/L
US units by default. Switch to mmol/L any time; your log converts both ways without rounding drift.
Kept on your device
Optional sync through your own iCloud, plus a free backup file in Files. No account, no ads, no analytics.
Plain promises
Typing always works
Fingerstick is built around typing your numbers. There is nothing to pair and nothing that can get stuck "waiting for data".
No nagging
The Pro screen shows only when you tap a Pro feature. No pop-ups at launch, no countdown offers.
No subscription required
Buy Pro once for $12.99, or pick $9.99 a year if you prefer. Everything else is free, with no limit on readings.
A log for your own records. Fingerstick is not a medical device. It does not give treatment advice or insulin doses. Talk to your doctor about your numbers and your targets.
