License
Fifth Wheel is provided by Alkor Labs, the trading name of Individual Entrepreneur Aliaksei Karatynski, registered in Georgia ("we", "us"), and licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms add a few points specific to Fifth Wheel. If anything here conflicts with the standard EULA, the standard EULA applies.
A study aid
Fifth Wheel is a study aid. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by FMCSA, AAMVA or any state DMV or licensing agency. Requirements vary by state — check your state's CDL manual.
- The questions and explanations are written by us and checked against public state CDL manuals. They are practice material, not the questions of any real test.
- Section numbers follow the model CDL manual most states use. Your state's edition may number some sections differently or add rules of its own. Where the app and your state's manual or licensing agency differ, follow your state.
- We work hard to keep every question correct, but manuals and rules change and mistakes can happen. If you find one, please report it (see Help).
No guarantee of passing
Practice scores, the "Ready" mark and the weak-topic lists are based only on your answers in the app. They help you decide what to study; they don't predict or guarantee your result on any knowledge test, skills test or license application.
Safe driving
The pre-trip inspection checklist is a study and practice tool written in our own words. It does not replace your vehicle's manuals, your employer's procedures, or the inspection rules that apply to you. Never use the app while driving.
Purchases
- Pro is a one-time purchase of $19.99 (US price; other countries vary) that unlocks all sections, unlimited exams, the weak-topic marathon and the progress PDF for the Apple Account that bought it.
- There is no subscription and no trial period. Nothing renews.
- Restore Pro on another device with Settings → Restore Purchases.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Changes to the app
We may update the app to fix questions, follow manual changes or improve it. We will not take away a feature you paid for with Pro without offering a fair replacement.
