CakeTallyPrivacy Policy
- We collect no data. The App Store label for CakeTally is “Data Not Collected”.
- Your customers, orders, recipes, prices and photos stay on your device and, if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud.
- No account, no servers that receive your data, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no third-party code.
CakeTally is made by Alkor Labs, the trading name of Individual Entrepreneur Aliaksei Karatynski, registered in Georgia (“we”). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app.
What the app stores, and where
The app stores what you type or add: your bakery profile (name, contact details, logo, terms and payment instructions you write), customers (name, phone, e-mail, how they like to be contacted, notes), orders and their items, inscriptions and notes, ingredients and their prices, recipes, cake calculations, serving charts, reminder settings and reference photos.
All of it is stored on your iPhone or iPad. It works offline; the app does not need an internet connection for any of its features.
Your customers’ details
The customer details you enter stay on your device (and in your private iCloud if you sync). We never receive them. You decide what you store about your customers and what you send them.
Photos
When you attach a reference photo to an order or add your logo, only the picture you choose is copied into the app. Photos stay on your device and, with iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. They are included in a backup file only when you make one.
iCloud sync (Pro)
If you turn on iCloud sync, your data is also kept in your own private iCloud database, provided by Apple and tied to your Apple Account. Only you can read it; we have no access to it. It is covered by Apple’s privacy policy. You can turn sync off at any time.
No third parties
- No account or sign-in. We never ask for your name, e-mail or phone number.
- No analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or other third-party code inside the app.
- No tracking across apps or websites. No selling or sharing of data, with anyone.
- The app does not process payments; it prepares your quotes and invoices. No payment details ever pass through it.
- This page sets no cookies and runs no scripts.
Purchases
The Pro purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. We don’t receive your payment details. The app only asks Apple whether Pro has been bought on your Apple Account.
Files you create and share
Quote and invoice PDFs, CSV exports and backup files are made on your device and go only where you send them, for example to a customer by Messages or Mail, to Files, or to a printer. Once you share a file, what happens to it is up to you and the people you share it with. A backup file contains your customers and orders, so keep it somewhere private.
Reminders
Deposit and pickup reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Deleting your data
Delete any customer, order or recipe in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on your device. To remove the iCloud copy, turn off iCloud sync and delete the app’s data in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
E-mail to support
If you write to us, we receive your e-mail address and what you write. We use it only to answer you and delete it when it is no longer needed. Please don’t send customer details unless they are needed to solve the problem.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not start collecting data without asking you first.
